Hillsdale College Visiting Assistant Professor Position (History)

Hillsdale College invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in History (beginning August, 2026). All applicants should possess ability and enthusiasm for teaching courses in the Western and the American Heritage, required components of the College’s core curriculum. The successful candidate will teach three courses per semester, at least two of which will be sections of the core Heritage courses. Applications are especially welcomed from those competent also to teach in the field of medieval, modern European, or American history. Salary competitive. PhD required.
