Your Role 

The Stellarus team is responsible for providing product offerings to Blue Shield of California and other health plans. In this role you will advance product operations and collaborate with product directors to advance commercialization of product offerings, including defining the market, market competition, roadmap and business impact of the product offerings. In your role, you will serve as a resource to support multiple product offerings across the portfolio, including but not limited to pharmacy care reimagined, member experience, pay for value and the platform.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will: 

  • Define and apply an AI-driven product management operating model across the product development lifecycle, with a focus on discovery, design, and documentation.
  •  Review current product documentation and AI tools and identify opportunities to integrate AI into Stellarus’ product lifecycle. 
  •  Draft an AI-enhanced product management operation model tailored to Stellarus 
  •  Map AI tools to specific product management tasks

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience 

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, management, marketing, computer science or related field
  • Must reside in the state of California
  • Requires at least 1 year of professional related experience, project or coursework experience
  • Strong interest in health technology and product management

 

Pay

$25.00 per hour for Undergraduate

$30.00 per hour for Graduate

 

About Our Internships

 

Our paid internship program is thoughtfully curated to provide students experience and exposure to the health professional industry. Interns will be given the opportunity to get hands-on experience with real work projects, build meaningful relationship and connections within the organization, and experience our mission and enterprise goals through our program curriculum centered on our leadership model (Personal, People, Thought, and Results Leadership). Our Summer 2026 Internship is June 8th or June 15th through August 14th, 2026.

As an intern at Blue Shield of California, you will:

  • Participate in impactful projects during a 10-week internship program
  • Undertake a 10-week curriculum designed to familiarize interns with BSC, leadership development, exposure to the healthcare industry, and more
  • Be invited to participate in BSC employee events and networking opportunities such as Employee Resource Groups, employee volunteer activities, and more

Two Ways of Working:

  • Hybrid (Default): Work from a business unit-approved office at least two (2) times per month (for roles below Director-level) or once per week (for Director-level roles and above). Exceptions:

o   Member-facing and approved out-of-state roles remain remote.

o   Employees living more than 50 miles from their assigned offices are expected to work with their managers on a plan for periodic office visits.

o   For employees with medical conditions that may impact their ability to work in-office, we are committed to engaging in an interactive process and providing reasonable accommodations to ensure their work environment is conducive to their success and well-being.

  • On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.

    Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
