This is a leadership role focused on maintaining safety and security for patrons, employees, visitors, and assets of Cherokee Nation Entertainment (CNE). The Lead Surveillance Agent supervises and directs the performance of Agents on assigned shifts and ensures all surveillance systems are operating and recording as designed. This position also involves administrative tasks, creating factual and concise reports on non-compliance and incidents, and responding to requests for video reviews and information from various internal and external agencies. The agent must maintain strict confidentiality and proper chain-of-custody for all evidence and reports
Responsibilities
- Supervises and directs the job duties of Agents on assigned shifts for all aspects of daily department operation.
- Monitors audio and video surveillance equipment and dispatches information to security.
- Ensures surveillance of gaming areas where possible cheating, theft, non-compliance, or criminal acts may occur.
- Creates and documents clear, concise, and factual reports on non-compliance, incidents, and video reviews, and forwards them to the Supervisor.
- Maintains proper chain-of-custody and storage procedure on all video evidence, physical evidence, and reports.
- Responds to requests for Video Reviews, Observation requests, and other information from various departments and outside agencies.
- Performs checks and completes logs on the condition of equipment to ensure surveillance equipment is operating properly.
- Provides training and development of Agents
Qualifications
- 24 hours college credit or a comparable combination of education and experience, one year of job-related experience, and 6 months of Surveillance experience required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be English language proficient and demonstrate proper grammar.
- Must be able to lift and carry 10 lbs.
- Must be computer literate and proficiently operate Surveillance Equipment, phone systems, and basic computer programs.
- General knowledge of house games, capable of playing, dealing, and identifying any potential scams at said games
