SANITATION na Opal Foods

Opal Foods is currently hiring for a Nighttime Sanitation position at our Roggen, CO egg processing location. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing egg processing equipment while maintaining compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations. This position will also assist the Sanitation Lead with other projects and duties as needed. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. We operate 7 days a week. Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare the work area for cleaning to protect equipment and materials from damage.
• Must follow specific instructions on cleaning techniques and processes to ensure equipment sanitation and prevent equipment damage.
• Use water, tools, and specific solutions to clean egg processing equipment.
• Must work with a sense of urgency to have equipment cleaned on time for USDA pre-operational morning inspection.
• Must work safely to prevent injuries to themselves and co-workers.
• Must work as a team and be willing to help other team members as needed throughout the shift.
• Other duties as assigned

• Must demonstrate attention to details
• Must be able to work safely at a fast pace in a wet environment
• Position is physically demanding. Workers must be able to access and clean hard-to-reach areas
• Must be available to be scheduled for work 7 days a week including holidays
• Must be able to work overnight shift
• Must be reliable and punctual to work shifts as scheduled
