CNC Lathe Operator

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

What You’ll Do
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes (preferably Mazak) to produce precision components.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code to ensure accurate machining.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to meet production timelines.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area in accordance with company safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining preferred.
- 2+ years of CNC lathe experience (Mazak experience highly preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specs and tolerances.
- Comfortable using a range of precision measurement tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate overhead cranes as needed.
- Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods.
- Shop environment includes moderate noise and temperature control.
- PPE required: Steel-toe shoes and safety glasses.
