PRODUCTION OPERATOR II (COOKER) - NIGHTS - GREELEY, CO
Hourly Rate = $19.13/hr.
Shift Hours = 6 PM to 6:30 AM
OVERVIEW:
As a Production Operator II (Level Two), you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations by safely and efficiently operating various equipment and machinery. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to start a career in manufacturing and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic production environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Operate designated machinery and equipment within the manufacturing plant according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and minor maintenance tasks as required.
- Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper functioning and quality output.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct visual inspections of equipment to identify potential issues or defects.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials onto machines.
- Ensure that production quotas and quality standards are consistently met.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment operations.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift/move heavy objects when necessary.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures.
- Proficient in basic math and measurement concepts.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently after training.
- Capability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Adaptability to changing work demands and priorities.
