*2 positions available - South-Central sales region (Dallas, Texas) and the South-East sales region (Atlanta, GA or South Carolina)*

Position Overview:

The RQI Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales and adoption of the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) program within athletic departments across universities, colleges, and K–12 institutions. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with athletic directors, sports medicine teams, coaches, and school administrators to promote life-saving CPR and resuscitation training tailored to the needs of student-athletes and athletic staff.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and target athletic departments in educational institutions for RQI program adoption.
  • Creating presence and leveraging relationships with national athletic director organizations.
  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to athletic program needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with athletic directors, trainers, and school administrators.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on resuscitation training compliance, readiness, and performance improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support and account management to ensure program success and renewal.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Stay informed on trends in athletic safety, emergency preparedness, and CPR training requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and materials for the athletic education sector.
  • Provide feedback to product and strategy teams on customer needs and market opportunities.

Training & Implementation Support

  • Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding and training for new clients to ensure contract expansion/renewal.
  • Support athletic departments in integrating RQI into their existing safety and training protocols.
  • Monitor usage and outcomes to ensure program effectiveness and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidates must reside in the South-Central sales region (Dallas, Texas) and the South-East sales region (Atlanta, GA or South Carolina)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Sports Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare, education, or athletic safety.
  • Knowledge of CPR training standards and athletic department operations is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed.
  • Familiarity with NCAA, NFHS, and state-level athletic safety regulations.
  • Experience working with K–12 school districts, colleges, and universities.
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven sales approach.
  • Passion for improving health outcomes and emergency preparedness in youth and collegiate sports.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $115,000 total compensation at 100% plan (base salary and commissions based variable plan)

The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, but not limited to; the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, location, level of education attained, and/or professional certifications, years of relevant experience, special skills, etc.
