Talented individual dedicated to quality and efficiency in a prototype machining atmosphere. Must be capable of pre and post administrative support. As a BAE Model Shop team member, you will utilize various scheduling, planning and tracking systems. You will work directly with team members to support workflow through the Model Shop.
As an Engineering Assistant for the ES Model Shop, your responsibilities will include supporting all aspects of pre and post product manufacturing, working with the proposal, production control and quality teams.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each key responsibility and functional knowledge listed below. Must observe all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and OSHA regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Reports to supervisor any conflict or problem that will interrupt the flow of work in the Machine Shop work environment.
This is a first shift position working a flexible 4/10 work schedule(Monday-Thursday).What You’ll Do:
- Maintain job progress and status records and notifies supervisor and/or customers of impending delays or serious difficulties affecting commitments.
- Proficient in all applications of Oracle, DSS, Solumina/Paperless, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PLM and TIPQA to accomplish daily tasks.
- Prepare reports on orders and status as required.
- Support purchasing of raw materials and hardware.
- Support work order close out and cost transfers.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written)
- High level of organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal management oversight
- Other duties as required.
