Hourly Rate: $17-$20
Motorcycle Injury Prevention Research (MIPI) Program conducts research and educational outreach to prevent motor-vehicle injuries and deaths focused on motorcycles and electric bicycles. The interdisciplinary MIPI team consists of engineers, planners, and public health professionals with significant knowledge of and experience with behavioral traffic safety. The team is currently providing technical and administrative support for the Florida Motorcycle Safety Coalition and the Florida Impaired Driving Coalition. MIPI is looking for a student assistant who can provide administrative support for the team.
Responsibilities:
Assist Administrative Specialist with coordinating travel arrangements using Archivum
Support P-card reconciliation by verifying transactions using Archivum and Emburse
Maintain organized records of travel and purchasing documentation
Help prepare and ship materials orders
Perform other general administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Experience with office administrative support at USF
Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
Demonstrated enthusiasm and initiative in supporting program objectives
Strong solution-oriented skills and high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s license required (may be asked to assist in quarterly coalition meetings off-campus and other program-related events)
Average Number of Hours per Week: 10 – 15 hrs
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with USF systems such as Archivum, Emburse, and FinanceMart
Intermediate level of expertise in Adobe Acrobat
Knowledge of USF grant management processes
