Hoosier Village, a premier senior living community, is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm and may work a weekend occasionally who is working for a rewarding experience working with older adults to join our extraordinary team. Successful candidates must possess excellent hospitality skills, be warm, respectful, detail oriented, and passionate about their work.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises the housekeepers, laundry attendants and floor care specialists' job performance in accordance with documented procedures
- Inspects and monitors the community continuously for cleanliness and assigns work, verbally in writing, to appropriate staff.
- Prepare staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and manage time-off requests. As needed back up to perform housekeeping/laundry tasks.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment. Place orders as needed, ensuring the housekeeping department is adequately stocked.
- Provides suggestion and assists with preparing the annual budget.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including OSHA standards and company policies.
- Respond to resident inquiries and complaints regarding cleanliness.
- Promptly and thoroughly addresses employee disciplinary action and terminations in coordination with human resources.
- Complete the payroll process in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift/move 25 pounds.
