Compensation: $118,400.00 to $142,900.00 

 

 

Summary:

The Sr PS Programmer/Architect is responsible for working with functional representatives within the HMSHost organization to create IT solutions to address business challenges. In addition, this role designs and leads the implementation of software to fulfill effective and efficient business processes. This role is also responsible for supporting existing processes and systems.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborates with other departments within the organization to assess business needs, write technical requirements and specifications for new products or services
  • Analyzes project and program specifications; conducts analysis and provides recommendations for technology-based specifications
  • Coordinates project teams to implement technology-based initiatives
  • Designs and programs appropriate code, screens, reports, etc. necessary for HMSHost applications using department standards and procedures
  • Conducts software developments through to fully tested and documented deliverables to the User community
  • Performs thorough program testing and document changes or enhancements to applications, code, or interfaces
  • Trains super-users in the use of new system functionality or modifications to existing functions
  • Designs, implements, and supports new reporting tools
  • Supports PeopleSoft and various off-the- shelf applications

 

Reporting Relationship: The Sr PS Programmer/Architect reports to the Director Digital Integration.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Requires 5 years of related experience in PeopleSoft
  • Experience in working on Unix and Windows environments
  • Requires working knowledge of SQL
  • Requires excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Requires exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal skills
