Overview:
We are currently seeking a Per Diem Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our team in North Haven, CT. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a specialized patient population and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered care model.

Position Summary:

The Physical Therapist will treat patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, including incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain. HHCRN is part of an integrated healthcare system with opportunities to interact and collaborate with physicians, mid-level practitioners and other disciplines treating this patient population.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services focused on pelvic health.
  • Collaborate with referring providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients on self-management strategies and therapeutic exercises.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with HHCRN standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

 


  • Graduate of Physical Therapy Program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school, BS degree or entry level Master's degree.
  • Active CT PT license. 
  • Completion of pelvic floor level 1 continuing education through APTA or Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute
  • Previous clinical experience evaluating and treating pelvic health patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible per diem schedule.
