We are currently seeking a Mid-Shift Supervisor (11:00am – 7:30pm) to join our team. As a Mid-Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the custodial and cleaning operations during the shift. This position is ideal for someone with experience in environmental services, particularly in a hospital or commercial cleaning setting.

Responsibilities: 

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the custodial staff - Ensure that all assigned areas are clean, sanitized, and maintained according to established standards - Train and mentor new custodial staff members 
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols 
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and submit requisitions as needed 
• Collaborate with other departments to address any facility maintenance or cleanliness issues 
• Handle any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner 
• Maintain records and prepare reports on cleaning activities and staff performance 
• Work side-by-side with the custodial staff to ensure all cleaning activities are accomplished.

Skills: 

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols a plus 
• Experience in environmental services, preferably in a hospital or commercial cleaning setting 
• Proficient in floor care techniques, including stripping, waxing, and buffing 
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team 
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers
