As a Production Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for safely manufacturing quality products through the efficient use of manpower, materials, and equipment. The Production Shift Supervisor directs the activities of the extrusion and converting/printing/recycle departments, promotes safe work practices, maintains production schedules and record keeping, and ensures quality standards are met. This position plans work, makes assignments, assists in the hiring process, trains new employees, and administers company policies consistently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• 5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing. 
• Blown film experience preferred. 
• Individual coaching, performance management.
• Strong and effective leadership; ability to motivate teams.
• Dedication to Quality Management System.
• Proven track record of meeting quantitative metrics.
• Safety, production, scrap, and quality goals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Excel skills. Ability to chart, graph, track inventory. 
• Continuous improvement--Create and implement projects. 
• Blueprint reading/mechanical skills.
