Cycling Instructor na ASPHALT GREEN INC

Description

Asphalt Green, Upper East Side, is looking to hire energetic cycling Instructors. We are specifically looking for weekday early morning, evening, and weekend instructors to lead our RIDE cycling classes.

Instructors are expected to:

· Have experience teaching in a group setting.

· Have experience in adjusting and fitting bikes to accommodate class participants.

· Continually offer feedback to class participants, always coach to the positive.

· Demonstrate cycling technique properly, including body positions.

· Instructors should be able to spot technique flaws quickly and correct participants within 1-2 cues.

· Have experience (or be comfortable) being mic’d up.

· Understand that empathy for students brings success to the coach and to the class.

· Ability to move and adjust bikes as necessary.

Qualifications

Our group exercise instructors have a pay rate of $53 per hour. Qualified candidates will have a current fitness certification from a nationally recognized association (AAFA, MADD DOG, SCHWINN), All candidates must have a valid CPR certification.
