We are seeking a full time position (during a maternity leave) passionate and dedicated Elementary Student Support Staff member who love the Lord and desire to serve in a Christian school environment. $20 -$25 per hour Our greatest accomplishment and hope as teachers is that every child will know that they are special and created in God’s image.
Job Overview:
The Elementary Student Support Staff member will report to the Elementary principal and work closely with the Director of Student Support, School Counselor, and Elementary Interventionist and Elementary teachers to provide support to students in a variety of ways throughout the school day. The Elementary Student Support staff member will follow a semester-long weekly schedule written by the Elementary Principal and Director of Student Support (subject to change based on supervision and student needs). The primary goal of this role is to help students thrive by providing assistance with academic, behavioral, and social needs, helping them grow in confidence and success.
Working hours: 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Work with students individually and/or in small groups to sup-port academics, executive functioning, sensory needs, social skills and behavior as overseen by the Director of Student Support.
- Recess and Supervision: Assist with recess duties, ensuring the safety and well-being of students during break times.
- Substitute in the classroom on an as needed basis.
- Monitor Progress: Track and document student progress as trained by the Director of Student Support and provide feedback to The Director of Student Support and classroom teachers.
- Assist in after school child care - Charger Kids
Qualifications:
- A deep love for the Lord and a desire to work in a Christian educational environment.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational or support capacity, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- High level of patience, empathy, and flexibility.

- Bachelor’s degree or working towards Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with students
