POSITION SUMMARY (Basic purpose or primary function of job)
The Director, Data-Driven Marketing leads a team of marketing professionals, overseeing the development and execution of data-driven marketing strategies that utilize advanced marketing technologies, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to drive personalization and automation. This role is responsible for optimizing the email marketing program and ensuring that data insights are effectively leveraged to meet business objectives. The Director manages a team that includes email marketing specialists and data management personnel, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data-driven efforts with the overall business strategy. The Director is also responsible for managing the Foundation’s paid media campaigns in partnership with trusted agencies and vendors. The Director’s team partners with Marketing Strategy & Planning and other Foundation team members in the development of integrated marketing and communications strategies and plans to support organizational priorities and objectives. This team also oversees channel technologies such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (the marketing automation platform) and other integrations and marketing technology platforms. As Director, Data-Driven Marketing, this leader will marry an understanding of the Foundation’s various audiences and constituencies with a performance-driven mindset to drive relevant touchpoints and test and optimize to drive improved results. They will provide guidance and coaching to the team on best practices and standards in leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud, monitoring and measuring performance, optimizing against KPIs, and reporting success and opportunities for growth. They will also support their direct reports in staying up-to-date with the latest digital trends and encourage their professional development and growth. |
