About the Department

Instructional duties will include teaching evening CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ classes using
instructor-led synchronous zoom (or similar) meetings and assisting students with the CompTIA courseware.

Position Duties

-Prepare and teach CompA At, Network + and Security + utilizing zoom and CompTIA courseware.
-Deliver instruction using appropriate teaching methods.
-Maintain and submit accurate academic records to include attendance roster, and grades.
-Maintain appropriate professional relationships and demonstrate courtesy and respect toward
students, including safeguarding confidentiality.
-Support student success efforts.
- Respond promptly and professionally to communications from students, and colleagues.
•-Support and promote the College's mission and Core Values: respect, opportunity,
helpfulness, integrity, and excellence.
-Familiarizes themselves with the Workforce Continuing Education Instructor Guide.
-Meets with Director periodically to discuss class schedules, course outline, student progress,
special needs, and required materials

Minimum Qualifications

-Must hold an associate degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, from an accredited institution.

-At least 3 years of work experience utilizing Comp TIA certifications.

-Teaching experience preferred.

-Possess a strong commitment to the mission of community colleges.

-Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
