We are looking to hire Immediately please be ready, set up interview ASAP,

OakMed is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, CNA or Home Health Aid 

This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients. 

The successful candidate is self-motivated, reliable, compassionate, and committed to creating a positive experience in our client’s lives

Our staff create a friendly, caring environment to ensure our clients receive the quality care and assistance they need to maintain their independence and quality of life in their home.

Client is in the Greater Grand rapids area 12 hour shifts  7 days per week. starting pay is $17/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient’s condition and report changes/concerns to appropriate medical professionals and family members
• Provide Activities of Daily Living care as outlined in the Care Plan-bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, etc.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean-living space for clients.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patient well-being.
• Ability to turn and reposition patients
• Understands First Aid and Emergency Care protocols
• Complete electronic documentation while on shift

Skills:

• Familiarity with Home Health Care, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of Confidentiality and Privacy Laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills… able to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to turn and reposition patients
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work as a team member
• Compassionate and able to handle tough situations as needed
• 1 year experience as a caregiver is preferred.
