Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Global Head of Market Development based out of our NY or London office locations.

The Global Head of Market Development is a critical role within the commercial organization at Fitch Solutions. This role is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy to identify new opportunities and target markets to grow revenue.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Combine data analysis, analytics and expertise to draw conclusions on addressable market opportunities
  • Ideate, design and implement sales campaigns that leverage a multi-channel, end-to-end approach to increase sales results
  • Monitor and report on the execution of sales strategy and performance vs. targets, course-correcting where needed
  • Building strong relationships across the company to partner effectively in a matrix organizational structure to achieve the best business outcomes
  • Ensure highly impactful product launches through coordination and planning with product strategy to maximize returns on product investment
  • Engage in active dialogue with key client relationships to drive business outcomes and inform our strategy
  • Provide clear accountability and talent development for individuals on the team, ensuring they have clear objectives and are delivering for their respective businesses while also operating as a strong interconnected team

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • 15 years+ commercial / management experience
  • Mix of analytic experience, operational leadership and sales/sales leadership preferred
  • B2B sales experience/exposure
  • Ability to make a business case using large data sets and analytics technology such as Tableau, Power BI or Qlik Sense

 

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Strong communications skills and a talent to take the complex and deliver in simple, easy to follow, compelling messages to multiple constituencies including executive level
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including influencing at a high level and directing teams and stakeholders to achieve a common objective
  • Experience operating in a matrix organization, including stakeholder engagement and influencing management.
  • Market domain experience across Corporate & Financial workflows that leverage data feeds and research
  • Broad network of customers, regulators, and market forums/associations, including at senior levels
  • Understanding of the trends and themes impacting the financial services industry, familiarity with macroeconomic trends and technological developments
  • University degree: industry qualification, graduate degree preferred.

  • Revenue growth accounting for sales & retention performance from existing and new logo clients as well as partnerships
  • Sales productivity metrics
  • Campaign outcomes: qualified leads, opportunity creation, conversion rates

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $275,000 and $315,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
