A. SUMMARY
Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple sales producers.
B. POSITION FUNCTIONS
1. Maintains files in an orderly, up-to-date manner.
2. Fielding telephone calls for producers.
3. Scheduling appointments with prospects and clients.
4. Word processing and internet research capabilities.
5. Maintains working knowledge of all company change procedures.
6. Assists Customer Service Representatives and Producers in coordinating the submission of proposals.
7. Tracks producer’s sales progress as well as processing producers expense reports.
8. Serve as a liaison between traveling sales producers and office staff/business partners and willingness to run errands.
9. Performs other functions as assigned by management.
C. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Self-starter, detail oriented, imaginative and creative, with good verbal and written communication skills. Must possess a “can do” attitude with problem solving skills.
D. OTHER REQUIREMENTS
High school or equivalent degree. Ability to use personal computer, calculator, fax machine, agency automation systems and various software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong computer and organizational skills required.
E. WORKING CONDITIONS
Fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
