WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1
The Staff Accountant oversees H1’s accounts payable activities including corporate card expenses and employee reimbursements. You’ll be responsible for other general ledger functions by managing fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other key financial statement areas. This role partners closely with teams across the business to deliver a white-glove experience and drive improvements in reporting, data integrity, and analysis, all with direct access to the CFO and other senior leaders at H1.
You will:
- Support month-end close process including journal entries and reconciliations, including cash, accounts payable, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses
- Provide month-end commentary and variance analysis to deliver insights to leadership
- Contribute to the implementation of new financial systems and tools
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- At least 2 years experience in accounting or finance
- Proven solid analytical skills, and US GAAP technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems like Intacct, or NetSuite is a plus
- Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Expert communicator - written & verbal
- Self-starter with willingness to work hands-on, independently, as well as with a group
COMPENSATION
This rolepays $70,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience, in addition to stock options.
