Ford Heavyline Diesel & Gas Technician na Norm Reeves Ford Lincoln

Location: Cerritos, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Rate: $42 flag + (based off experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy line concerns, including engines, transmissions, drivetrains, and related components on diesel and gas vehicles.
• Perform factory-recommended maintenance and service according to Ford standards.
• Utilize Ford diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Conduct engine rebuilds, transmission replacements, and powertrain overhauls as required.
• Perform warranty and non-warranty repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Document all work performed and recommended services on repair orders clearly and completely.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding repair status and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  

Qualifications

• Ford Certified Technician preferred; willingness to complete Ford factory training required.

• Proven experience as a Heavy Line Technician or equivalent automotive repair experience.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
