Trainer - Staff Development
Salary Range: $24.25-$32/hr depending on relevant experience

The successful candidate will have experience in human services and excellent presentation skills and belief in Wildwood's mission.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- HS diploma; college degree in education; human services or related field preferred.
- 3 years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong presentation skills
- Word processing, E-mail and database software, apple and google suite programs.
- Experience in developmental disabilities field preferred
Certifications/Licenses:
- SCIP-R trainer certification or eligibility for certification is required.
- First Aid and CPR trainer certification or eligibility for certification is required.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Trainer to prepare and deliver training programs and to collaborate with other members of the Training / Staff Development team to enhance staff understanding and connection to Wildwood’s Mission, Values and Vision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Schedules and conducts Orientation (weekly, remote or weekend)
- Collects and organizes training documentation (sign in sheets, certifications, Red Cross database)
- Inputs training data into LMS (Relias)
- Serves as a liaison between orientation presenters. hiring managers, HR and attendees
- Prepares training materials (makes copies, prepares orientation schedules, prepares and orders materials)
- Schedules training space for orientations, SCIP-R, CPR and other ad hoc trainings
- Facilitates presentations of prepared training modules as needed to support the organization (Orientation facilitator back up)
- Responds to inquiries regarding training policies, procedures and signing up for training sessions
Qualifications
- A valid NY state driver’s license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
- Daily access to a vehicle based on program need.
- The position requires occasional work in the evenings and weekends.
