Job Summary/Objective:

The Program Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of interrelated projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering measurable value. This role involves coordinating project managers, optimizing resources, and monitoring overall program performance to achieve strategic objectives. The Program Manager acts as the key point of contact for stakeholders and drives collaboration across teams to maintain program efficiency and effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program activities to ensure seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for customers, providing timely updates and managing detailed reporting.
  • Coordinate and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, including Project Managers and other stakeholders, to achieve program objectives.
  • Manage timelines and budgets, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met consistently.
  • Facilitate process improvements by addressing challenges, tracking variances, and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
  • Organize and lead project meetings, customer calls, and status updates as needed.
  • Develop and maintain mechanisms to track program progress and performance metrics effectively.
  • Forecast resource needs and balance workloads, including managing contractor support when necessary.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clarity and effective communication throughout the program lifecycle.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • 8+ years of industry-specific project/program management experience. 
  • BA/BS in related field 

Preferred and Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMI) certification or equivalent credentials.

  • Strategic thinking to align program objectives with organizational goals while navigating complex interdependencies.
  • Expertise in leading and coordinating multiple projects within a program, ensuring cohesion and efficiency across initiatives.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges, resolve conflicts, and drive innovation at the program level.
  • Strong decision-making abilities to balance priorities, allocate resources effectively, and manage risks across projects.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to build alignment among stakeholders, project teams, and leadership.
  • Proficiency in developing program plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of results.
  • Leadership capabilities to mentor project managers, foster team collaboration, and promote accountability across the program.
  • Attention to detail to oversee high-level program performance while addressing critical risks and opportunities.
  • Continuous improvement mindset to integrate lessons learned, enhance program practices, and drive organizational success.

Direct/Indirect Supervisory Responsibility: 

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to set goals and deadlines in alignment with company objectives.  

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel Required:

  • Office-based environment, primarily involving long periods of computer work.
  • Full-time role (40 hours per week), with occasional travel to client offices and project sites, as required.
