Job Description
As an Automation Data Scientist Intern , you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, code, test, and debug data solutions.Our program is a paid, 12-week program that will run from Monday, May 18th through Friday, August 7th. At MiTek, we embrace a hybrid work model that encourages innovation, collaboration, and connection. For internships that outside your current geographic location, we offer a $6,000 Intern Stipend to help cover your temporary housing and travel for the duration of the program.

Essential Functions:
Designing and developing enterprise data solutions for the building industry.
Coding and debugging using Azure, Azure Data factory, C#, .NET Framework, SQL Database, and other development tools.
Applying Object-Oriented Design principles and development best practices.
Collaborating with teams across Requirements, QA, and Development to create efficient, high-quality solutions.
Working in an Agile environment (Scrum) and participating in team meetings.
Learning to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering with Data Science/Analytics focus (Expected graduation Fall 2026 or Spring 2027).
Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher; ability to accept full-time offer
Experience or coursework in C#, .NET, SQL, Python and Object-Oriented Design.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical challenges.
Passion for software development and eagerness to learn and contribute.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to have experience with Power BI or Tableau.
