Thom Boston Medically Complex Care Consultation Program (MC3) Coordinator
The Boston Medically Complex Care Consultation Program (MC3), part of Thom Child and Family Services, provides support to families of young children with extensive medical and developmental needs. The Program Coordinator ensures that families receive high-quality consultation, referrals, resources, and tailored support to help them navigate care systems and services.
This position reports to the Program Director of Thom Boston Early Intervention Program.
This position is 30-40 hours per week Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day administration of the MC3 Program under the direction of the Early Intervention Program Director.
- Ensure timely, high-quality services for families referred to MC3.
- Provide consultation, training, and resource/referral support to families, Early Intervention programs, and early childhood providers to strengthen inclusive and coordinated practices.
- Assist families in obtaining adaptive equipment, funding, and respite services to support their child’s medical and developmental needs.
- Collect, analyze, and report program data to Thom leadership and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) in accordance with required timelines.
- Manage program fiscal processes in collaboration with Thom’s Director of Financial Services, including budget oversight, billing, invoices, and documentation tracking.
- Monitor program procedures to ensure compliance with DPH regulations and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with Early Intervention providers and other MC3 coordinators statewide to ensure coordinated referrals and continuity of care.
- Lead family support and engagement programming, contribute to community capacity-building, and maintain up-to-date resource listings for families and providers.
- Support the development of IFSP strategies that promote meaningful participation in natural environments.
- Utilize Thom’s internal administrative systems for referrals, training coordination, and program surveys.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience working with children and families.
- Knowledge of resources supporting children with complex medical and developmental needs.
- Familiarity with Massachusetts Early Intervention philosophy and operational standards.
- Experience with resource and referral systems.
- Ability to work respectfully and effectively in culturally diverse environments.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience developing and facilitating adult training.
- Valid pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of adaptive positioning equipment, feeding supports, and assistive/augmentative technology.
- Ability to work independently and complete client related activities as well as admin tasks.
