About the Role: 

As an Activities Assistant at Centre Ave. Health and Rehab, you will:

• Develop and support resident activities to enhance physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, promoting independence and community interaction. 

• Assist in planning and conducting monthly activity calendars and various activities (large group, small group, one-on-one). 

• Manage documentation in compliance with State/Federal requirements and complete activity assessments and charting. 

• Train and coordinate volunteers and interns, and participates in resident care conferences. 

• Escort and transport residents to activities, maintaining a safe and clean activity space. 

• Communicate with the Activities Director and other departments to ensure smooth operation and planning of activities. 

• Assist with outdoor visitations and performs other duties as assigned. 

What We're Looking For:  

Experience and Education:  

• Minimum age of 17.  

• A high school diploma or a GED.  

• One to three months of experience or related training.  

Skills:  

• Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents.  

• Ability to communicate effectively.  

• Basic mathematical skills. 

• Ability to reason and problem solve.  

• Basic technical skills.  

Attributes:  

• Professional.  

• Program implementation. 

• Attentional to detail.  

• Compassionate and empathetic.  

• Adaptable. 

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $15.50 - $17/hr. DOE
