JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for transporting of materials, using a box truck, with attention to labels, product and quantity verification. Maintains accuracy of documentation and resolves any discrepancy in a timely manner. Works in cross functional group to ensure integrity of inventory. Ability to learn computer syMatstems and scanner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – includes the following:
- Proactive approach to promote and support safe working environment, required to complete Hazardous Observation form as needed, promptly report all safety concerns.
- Fills and packages direct shipments ensuring accuracy of label, product and packaging. Completes paperwork or forms required for documentation.
- Resolves problems utilizing knowledge of shipping/packaging operations.
- Participates in routing and counting of all items.
- Performs 5S duties and checklist for work area.
- Labels boxed product, and skidded product; prepares product for shipment.
- Perform transactions using WMI and SAP.
- Understands material flow.
- Support implementation and organization of finished goods warehousing
- Utilizes computerized or automated systems to accomplish tasks
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
1. Must support safety policies and practices that apply to assigned area.
2. Computer skills with ability to learn new systems.
3. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively interact with people.
4. Must be able to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
5. Must be self motivated.
6. Demonstrated positive performance record.
7. Strong aptitude to effectively train others.
8. Flexible with work schedule.
9. Obtain DOT Medical Card physical.
10. Obtain Forklift License.
