JOB SCOPE:
The Associate Director works with the ACT Team Leaders and the DVP of Community Treatment Teams to provide oversight of PCMH’s ACT teams. The Associate Director is responsible for working alongside the DVP to ensure that all ACT programs are maintained in compliance with applicable regulatory standards set forth by the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) and NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of three ACT Teams, including supervision and assignment of staff, maintaining chart documentation systems, managing clinical crises, and monitoring billing and other financial functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists in providing direct clinical and administrative supervision for three Team Lead clinicians, as well as secondary oversite for all ACT team clinical and administrative staff alongside the Deputy VP of Community Treatment Teams
- Foster a sense of accountability with Team Leaders for achieving strong clinical and billing outcomes.
- Assist with hiring, training, and retaining clinical staff.
- Ensure all case records are accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date for all ACT programs
- Monitor staff compliance with regards to required ACT trainings and support resources.
- Ensure ACT department operates in compliance with all OMH/DOH and funder regulations and meets all contractual obligations.
- Represents the agency in conferences and meetings when the DVP of Community Treatment Teams is unavailable and serves as a liaison with the community.
- Assists with responding to client complaints and grievances, managing client crises, sand participating in case conferences.
- Serve as an active member of the Incident Review Committee, charged with ensuring that reporting procedures are accurate, timely and are monitored during monthly IRC meetings.
- Produce and submit weekly program progress report to DVP of Community Treatment Teams and Agency Administration.
- Serves as interim Team Leader when managerial vacancies occur.
- Perform other duties and tasks as deemed necessary by DVP of Community Treatment Teams.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s Degree in a Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
- LCSW preferred.
- Five (5) years post-Master’s experience working with chronically mentally ill individuals.
- Knowledge of community resources available to the population (s) served.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
