Family Centered Treatment Supervisor na Walden Family Services

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: To supervise the implementation of the Family Centered Treatment Program (FCT) as per requirements of the FCT Foundation. To strengthen families to prevent the removal of their child(ren) from home or the dissolution of the family due to external or internal stressors and circumstances. To enhance the overall functioning of the family through the delivery of comprehensive family-centered treatment. To prevent child abuse and neglect by enabling families to break the cycle of exposure to abuse and generational patterns of trauma. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

1. Delivers culturally competent best practice intervention by interviewing, assessing, developing, and implementing treatment plans, evaluating services, and documenting service delivery utilizing the FCT model.
2. Complete the Wheels of Change and all relevant training toward FCT Supervisor Certification from the FCT foundation and      maintain certification.
3. Provide weekly team supervision and individual staffing every other week. In addition, review training and certification of FCT Practitioners.
4. Review FCT documentation routinely to determine if FCT Practitioners are meeting FCT adherence and fidelity goals. Provide summaries as requested to the COO.
5. Responds quickly to referrals and assignments of trained FCT Practitioners to families in crisis needing immediate support 
6. Partners with the family to recognize their core strengths and values and assist the family in identifying and honoring their intrinsic beliefs and values while maintaining program fidelity 
7. Provides support and utilizes an analytic process to evaluate change, and the family’s ability to use strategies presented through the four phases of treatment 
8. Maintains an accurate written record of  contacts and assists with the tracking and compilation of data and reports in a timely manner 
9. Promote a positive image of Walden Family Services and demonstrate an ability to work and execute responsibilities as part of a community and agency team with the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, including participation in agency events 
10. Implement a flexible schedule that will meet the various needs of staff and families, including 24/7 emergency calls, and notify the Chief Operating Officer of the emergency or crisis.
11. Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

1. Associate or licensed as a LCSW, MFT, LPCC or Psychologist preferred. 

2. Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a closely related field plus 3 to 5 years of experience working with families

3. A basic understanding of trauma and families in crisis and the interrelation between trauma and symptoms of trauma with a desire to protect and support families

4. An ability to communicate ideas clearly, listen accurately, and establish rapport with diverse populations

5. Must posses valid California driver’s license and have a good driving record.

6. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearances from the Department of Justice.

7. Must meet all requirements set by Community Care Licensing pertaining to the hiring of employees by a licensed community care facility.
