Voss Distributing, an exclusive Red Bull distributor, is seeking a dynamic Red Bull DSD Trainer & Route Coverage Specialist (We call them Brand Development Managers.) to join our team. This role is essential in building sales capability, ensuring route coverage, and driving brand execution excellence across our divisions.

What You’ll Do
As a Brand Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring consistent execution in the field and supporting both new and experienced Route Sales Representatives. You’ll act as a bridge between management and the sales team: providing training, covering routes, and ensuring that our standards of service and performance shine in every store.

Your key responsibilities include:
Lead Onboarding & Training: Execute all onboarding and field training for new hires in your division, following structured training programs and the Voss field guide.
Route Coverage Expert: Step in to cover sales routes as needed, maintaining strong relationships with customers and ensuring sales continuity.
Sales Growth & Execution: Meet individual sales and placement goals while helping others develop the skills to do the same.
Performance Coaching: Partner with Division Managers to assess route execution, identify development needs, and reinforce best practices.
Field Leadership: Demonstrate and model exceptional standards for merchandising, product rotation, display execution, and account management.
Travel: Support other divisions as needed, up to 8 travel days per month, to cover routes, assist with new hire training, and reinforce execution standards.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Non-alcoholic beverage experience preferred
  • Proven experience in DSD (Direct Store Delivery), route sales, and field training (3 years of sales or management experience) Successful use of a sales system, sales call preparation and sales execution
  • Strong communication and coaching skills: able to motivate and develop others
  • Solid understanding of sales, merchandising, and retail execution
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and energy
  • Tech-savvy with handheld devices and route management systems
  • Willingness to travel up to 8 days per month
  • Ability to consistently lift 200-300 cases (50 lbs.) and be on route (training or covering) most days.
  • Must pass drug test, lift test, physical and background checks
  • A clean driving record **No more than 2 events (accidents or tickets) each year for the past 3 years **No driving while intoxicated charges during the last 5 years
