We are on a mission to grow Second Nature Brands from $500M to $1B in the next 3 years through a combination of organic growth (increased distribution, e-commerce, and innovation) and through M&A. We have an opening for a Route Sales position, who will be an important member of the supply chain team during this growth.
As a commission base Route Sales person at Second Nature Brands, you will be responsible for servicing an established and potential customer base, ensuring product availability, and maximizing sales opportunities within your designated route. Your primary goal is to meet and exceed sales targets while providing top-notch customer service. To be successful, you must have the ability to stay at pace with the line and perform repetitive tasks. This position will be based out Kar’s Nuts Distributors 1671 East Lincoln Madison Heights, MI 48071.
Regular working hours are Monday through Friday. Qualified candidates must be willing and able to work daily overtime as well as weekends as needed.
**Route runs through Novi / Wixom / Livonia and surround areas**
**100% commission based role with guaranteed training pay**
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Service and maintain a predefined established route, visiting customers on a regular basis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Sell company products to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Ensure products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and merchandised for maximum visibility.
- Monitor product freshness and quality, rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Collect payments from customers and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, following safety and maintenance protocols.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, customer preferences, and competition.
- Participate in training and professional development.
Required qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years previous sales experience.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid Chauffer driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move product inventory (up to 50Ibs).
- English language proficiency
