We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Die Cutting Supervisor. While reporting to the Plant Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient flow of materials and information within our organization. You will be responsible for coordinating the activities of employees in your department. Your role will involve coordinating various aspects of the manufacturing process, such as die inventory management, machine availability, and production efficiency.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment in Die Cutting department.
  • Attend quality gemba walks to monitor quality of product and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the plant superintendent, scheduler, die cutting associates.
  • Attend Production Meetings, 5S/DTM Meetings, and other continuous improvement meetings as necessary.
  • Review press schedule to accurately schedule die cutting.
  • Review customer specifications to ensure packing material and pallet organization is correct.
  • Maintain die cutting KPIs and report out to management.
  • Manage die cutting employee training and performance as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate inventory for Die Cutting department.
  • Ensure machine reliability through the timely submission of work orders in our CMMS.
  • Review and correct production documentation for compliance to FSSC governing body.
  • Manage Timecards/Payroll for Slitting and Shipping associates.

This is an onsite position out of our Waco, Texas facility

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • You have a four-year degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Management, or the sciences.
  • 3 to 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency using ePS, SAP, or an applicable ERP system.
  • Proficiency using UKG, and Coupa.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
