Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, a trusted name in senior care for over 130 years, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team in the vibrant Midway area of St. Paul. This full-time position plays a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and functionality of our senior living communities, including Senior Apartments, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Care.

Wage: $23 – $26/hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week); scheduled days may vary
On-Call Rotation: Includes weekends and holidays
What You’ll Do
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, flooring, painting, and more
- Complete work orders and preventive maintenance using facility software
- Support larger construction and maintenance projects as needed
- Ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained public and private spaces across the campus
- Assist in maintaining inventory of tools, materials, and maintenance supplies
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and external contractors
- Participate in an on-call rotation and periodic weekend shifts (approx. every 6–8 weeks)
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3–5 years of general maintenance experience preferred (carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, painting, electrical)
- HVAC and/or trade certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 feet, and safely operate equipment
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license required
- Experience in long-term care or healthcare facilities a plus
