What you’ll do:
- Produce and complete bid documents by performing field measurements, build take-offs and create estimates for potential jobs
- Analyzing bids and calculating competitive pricing
- Develop RFP documentation, includes model, takeoffs
- Work closely with sales team to ensure RFP dates and deadlines are met
- Work with team or individually on vendor backup quotes to double check pricing model
- Complete and organize customer-required pricing documentation and proposal content
- Support proposal creation for both product and integration bids, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
- Analyze potential risks, schedule requirements, concerns and deadlines
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits and clients meetings as needed
- Generate qualified subcontractor bidder and vendor lists
- Shows creativity and resourcefulness to gain best quality and pricing from subcontractors
- Experience in exterior services, preferably with knowledge of Service Channel, etc.
- Strong understand of asphalt paving operations, materials, and equipment
- 3+ year experience in estimating preferred
- You possess excellent, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
- Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in pricing and documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Monday - Friday availability with after hours availability needed based on business needs - required to be local to our Plainville, MA office
- Valid driver's license
- Familiarity with sales process is a plus
