St. Edmond's Home for Children is a residential care facility providing an exceptional holistic outcome-oriented plan of care for children with intellectual and physical disabilities. 

Schedule: Full-time (80hrs biweekly)

Salary: $65,000/annually

Primary Function

To ensure compliance with required ICF/ID, 6400, 6500, 2380 and 2390 and 6100 regulatory standards and oversees implementation of quality performance systems, measures and standards for the Division. The Quality Management Coordinator will focus on the promotion of active treatment and monitor, review and analyze incidents (reportable and non-reportable), including investigations, in protecting the health, safety, rights, and dignity of the individual’s receiving services within the Developmental Programs Division.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and meet with the Department of Health and the Bureau of Human Services Licensing and the Office of Developmental Programs as needed.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of quality performance systems including but not limited to announced or unannounced chart reviews, on-site observations and incident reviews.
  • Track plans of correction and follow-up with compliance.
  • Attend and participate in Quality team meetings and Safety meetings as appropriate.
  • Provide oversight of the Incident Management Process.
  • Manage EIM system and related timelines.
  • Act as point person by coordinating the assignment of investigations and ensure the completion of all required documents and meetings.
  • Conduct certified investigations as needed.
  • Attend regular departmental meetings including management meetings as needed.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of ICF/ID, 6400, 6500, 2380, and 2390 and 6100 regulations.
  • Develop trend analysis for teams upon request.
  • Conduct quarterly certified investigator peer reviews as scheduled.
  • Participate in chart and site audits, incident and fire drill audits and site audits as needed.
  • Conducts audits, on-site observations and incident reviews as directed.
  • Conducts fact findings and special investigations as directed.
  • Regularly encourages feedback from staff and utilizes this feedback to improve services.
  • Demonstrates an ability to independently solve problems in a creative manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5yrs experience with knowledge of regulatory requirements and the Incident Management Bulletin. 
  • Must be a Certified Investigator.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
