The Last Mile Delivery Finance Team partners closely with Store Operations, eCommerce, and Supply Chain leaders to support financial forecasting, strategic planning, and business decision-making for Walmart’s home delivery business. We are a collaborative, data-driven group focused on process optimization and delivering actionable insights. As a key member of this team, you’ll help redefine how Finance supports the delivery business in achieving both near-term and long-term goals.
What you'll do...
- Develop robust, driver-based financial models to inform business decisions and support strategic initiatives.
- Create compelling presentations and white papers to communicate financial results and business impact to leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics, and eCommerce teams to accelerate progress and achieve financial objectives.
- Revolutionize financial processes by developing semantic models, automated reports, and standardized SQL queries to democratize analytics.
- Regularly update executive leadership on financial progress through business reviews and performance reporting.
- Identify, quantify, test, and scale high-visibility eCommerce initiatives impacting millions of customers.
- Optimize forecasting and reporting processes to drive efficiency and data-driven decision making.
- Expertise in developing strategic business cases, employing comprehensive financial models and compelling narratives.
- Proven experience navigating complex, matrixed organizations and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Advanced data analytics skills, with proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and SQL.
- Strong communication and storytelling abilities, able to simplify complex concepts for leadership and influence decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale business intelligence capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in process optimization and implementing next-gen analytics solutions.
- High attention to detail, organizational discipline, and a results-oriented mindset.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
