We are seeking a seasoned Wireless Network Architect Engineer with deep expertise in Unified Communications, Networking, Video, or Security Services. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale, complex communication system architectures across multiple vertical markets.
You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, delivering high-level and detailed consultative solutions to key customers. Your ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture will be critical to success.
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM (On call support required, as needed).
Location: Winston-Salem, NC (Travel Required)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead consultative engagements, providing technical and engineering support for strategic customer opportunities.
- Design and present in-depth technical solutions and architectures tailored to customer needs.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of the Virtual Design Team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define global technical requirements and influence product direction.
- Author white papers, technical documentation, and solution diagrams for internal and external audiences.
- Actively gather and communicate product requirements to Engineering to support business growth.
Preferred Skills
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, etc.)
- Experience with cloud-based communication platforms and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in AI-driven communications and network automation.
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of related experience, required. 3+ years of experience in a Lead role, required.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: CCNA/CCNP, preferred. IASA IT Architect, preferred. CCIE, preferred.

- Hands on in depth experience with the following platforms: Extreme routing and switching platforms, Palo Alto . Various management platforms and testing gear capabilities are a requirement including optical, Ethernet and packet capture/decode capability.
- Additional Skills/Requirements preferred:
- Exhibits role-model Engineering skills in Unified Communications, Networking, Security and Video and emerging technologies. Has deep Enterprise software knowledge, and next generation network knowledge.
- Intimate knowledge in assigned solutions and large enterprise architectures and implementations. Directs and executes proof of-concept, trial and demonstrations, often with integration of large-scaled, complex and distributed enterprise systems sometimes with Beta versions for eventual production roll out.
- Expert level on industry and product roadmap. Understands where product and solutions will evolve over next several years and applies this in-depth solutions knowledge to current decisions.
- Exhibits exceptional interpersonal technical/consultative selling skills with customer and able to effectively communicate and be convincing with technical influencers and executives in internal customer situations. Successfully describes vision, current solutions, technologies..
