The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) operates within Landmark Hospital's Core Values to provide in-depth clinical expertise within their discipline. You have the opportunity to work with both LTACH and Acute Rehab patients.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) are responsible for treating patients with therapeutic and self-care activities based on the physician and provider orders. COTA work alongside Occupational Therapists as they treat patients with limited mobility. COTA updates and documents the treatments for patients, often coordinating occupational therapy with other types of therapeutic activities within a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
Requirements:
- Occupational Therapist Assistant Degree (preferred)
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant MO Licensure
- 1 year of experience as Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Current BLS certification Required
