To better support our overall company and the anticipated doubling of our portfolio over the next few years, Westcore is looking for a skilled AI & Data Solutions Analyst.


POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for architecting and implementing the company’s next-generation data analytics platform, integrating advanced AI capabilities to enhance data accessibility and decision-making. The position will lead the development of Microsoft Fabric/OneLake infrastructure, build AI agents that interact seamlessly with multiple commercial real estate data sources, and create intelligent reporting solutions enabling natural language data exploration. Combining data engineering, AI agent development, and business intelligence, this role drives the organization’s “talk to your data” initiative. The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen in Python and SQL, experience with low-code automation platforms, and a forward-thinking approach to applying AI and automation within a dynamic commercial real estate environment.

 

CORE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and maintain a centralized enterprise data platform (Microsoft Fabric/OneLake or equivalent) with scalable pipelines integrating key CRE systems such as Yardi, Argus, CoStar, and GreenStreet.
  • Develop unified data models and implement governance, quality, and documentation standards to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Build and deploy AI-driven agents and automations using ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Power Automate; enable natural language data interaction and integrate AI with enterprise systems via APIs and connectors.
  • Enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting to deliver actionable insights for asset management, leasing, and finance; partner with FP&A and operations to define KPIs and analytics frameworks.
  • Promote data literacy and adoption by training users, advancing AI and BI tool utilization, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES: (The below list is not comprehensive, and priorities will change on a day to day basis)

 

Data Infrastructure & Integration

  • Architect and implement Microsoft Fabric/OneLake (or similar) as our centralized data platform
  • Build data pipelines and integrations from Yardi ERP (SQL Data warehouse), SharePoint (Excel/PDFs), Argus, CoStar, GreenStreet, Measurabl, and other CRE data sources
  • Design data models that normalize and contextualize information across disparate systems
  • Establish data governance, quality controls, and documentation standards

 

AI Agent Development & Automation

  • Design and deploy AI agents (using ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms) that can query, analyze, and report on data autonomously
  • Build API integrations and custom connectors to enable AI systems to access and interact with data sources
  • Develop natural language interfaces for data exploration ("talk to your data" functionality)
  • Create automated workflows for recurring reports, data collection, and business processes using Power Automate and other tools/scripts

 

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Maintain and enhance existing Power BI dashboards for asset management, leasing, and financial reporting
  • Design new interactive visualizations and reports that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Partner with FP&A and operations teams to define KPIs, metrics, and analytical frameworks
  • Train end-users on new tools and foster data literacy across the organization

 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar role
  • Experience in Commercial Real Estate, real estate finance, or related industry preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, or similar data platforms
  • Familiarity with CRE data systems: Yardi, CoStar, Argus or similar
  • Experience building AI agents, custom GPTs, or workflow automation using LLMs
  • Understanding of data architecture and ETL/ELT

 

DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Power BI: Dashboard development, DAX, Power Query, data modeling
  • SQL: Writing queries, understanding database structures (Azure SQL, SQL Server, or similar)
  • Python: Basic scripting for data manipulation, API integration, or automation (pandas, requests, etc.)
  • AI Platforms: Hands-on experience with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar LLM tools beyond basic prompting
  • Low-Code Tools: Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar workflow automation platforms
  • Excel: Advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query/Power Pivot
  • APIs: Understanding of REST APIs and ability to connect systems programmatically

Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 Salary DOE + 10% Bonus Eligibility. Competitive Healthcare Coverage, Multilayered Vacation, & 401K offerings.
