Clinical Scheduler
Lake Prince At Home, Home Health and Hospice is seeking, a scheduler for our growing team. Lake Price Woods At Home is a non-profit organization that prides themselves on serving the community at EveryAge. The Christian mission of caring for others and adding quality of life to all we serve is the meaning to all we do! We cover South Hampton Roads area including the Lake Prince retirement community.
Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor, the Clinic Scheduler maintains the staffing schedule for the Clinic and Day Centers, including assignment sheets, master schedule, PAL Requests. Maintains the participant schedule; schedules necessary appointments for participants when requested by supervisor for clinic, specialists, and outside medical appointments. Obtains information from participants as directed by the Clinic RN or physician. Participates in clinic meetings and overall planning related to clinic. Accepts other duties as assigned by the Clinic Supervisor. Accepts other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor and within the Certified Nursing Assistant scope of practice.

1. Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
2. Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation. Must be able to meet EveryAge auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage.
3. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college or business school is strongly preferred.
4. Experience: Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current certification and required in-services. Minimum age of 18 years or older is required for this position due to Department of Labor regulations. . Minimum of one year working with the frail or elderly. Two (2) years clerical or business experience, preferably in a health care environment is preferred. Experience with a personal computer, various software applications, email, facsimile, and copier. Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
