Sales Assistant (30hrs/4 days) na Value Retail PLC

Please be advised that this is a fixed term contract until 31/01/2026. It is a part time position, the working hours are 30hrs/4 days, Monday to Sunday. Keyholder duties are involved.

Main Purpose

Responsible for delivering an outstanding shopping experience to our customers. This role involves providing expert advive on our cookware products, driving sales and ensuring the store is well-presented and stocked.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, providing expert advice on our cookware products.
• Sales: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective company sales techniques, product demonstrations and upselling.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our product range and stay updated on new arrivals and promotions.
• Merchandising: Ensure the store is well-stocked, organised, clean and tidy by undertaking all housekeeping duties and visually appealing.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stock control and checks, including receiving, unpacking, and organising merchandise.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Cash up in accordance with company policy and procedures.

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for cooking and familiarity with cookware products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
