If you’re looking for new opportunities, and ready to join a high-skilled multicultural team, willing to travel (up to 15% of your time on certain peaks), we are now looking for a System Engineer to join our Delivery team in Madrid.
What will you do?
As a System Engineer within Thales, you will:
- Understand customer needs, refine them with the customer or internally, elicit customer requirements and translate them into system requirements and system architecture to fulfill the customer needs.
- Analyze and understand customer requirements through advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes, …
- Define and formalize specifications and architectural design used to propose the best solution to the clients, ensuring technical integration, coherence of the system design, interfaces and performance.
- Contribute to the analysis of technical facts or encountered anomalies, propose solutions.
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining reference documentation like System requirements Specifications, Interface specifications and System architecture documentation.
- Contribute to drafting justification and certification documentation.
- Demonstrate the solution to the customer
About You
To succeed in this job, you should have:
Technical skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering or similar.
- At least 4 years' experience in in Software and/or Hardware systems engineering.
- Quickly understand the system and how it works.
- Be experienced in the design of complex architectures in line with security standards and policies.
- Be experienced with SysML, UML, BPMN and modelling tools, such as Enterprise Architect.
- Be experience in using requirements management tools (e.g.: JIRA, EasyRequirements/R4J).
- Have good understanding and high-level knowledge of microservices architecture, reactive programming, containerized services and HW devices integration.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish & English. French is a plus.
- and available to travel out of the country (maximum 15% of your time).
