The Corporate Marketing and Communications Advisor enhances the visibility, engagement, and public awareness of the organization through strategic communication initiatives. This role supports branding, public relations, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement to promote the organization’s mission, programs, and events. This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Corporate Marketing and Communications.
The Marketing & Communications Advisor will play a pivotal role in supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Advisory
Develop and implement integrated corporate marketing and communications strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Advise leadership on communication opportunities and brand positioning, ensuring brand consistency.
Conduct market research and audience analysis to inform strategy.
Content Creation & Campaigns
Create compelling content for websites, newsletters, social media, press releases, and promotional materials.
Design and execute digital marketing campaigns including email marketing, and social media.
Draft storyboards, scripts, and infographics for multimedia content.
Public Relations & Media Engagement
Prepare speeches, presentations, and briefing notes for executives.
Monitor media coverage and public sentiment.
Event & Stakeholder Engagement
Support the planning and execution of internal and public events, webinars, and employee and community outreach initiatives.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging.
Lead or support committees related to marketing and communications including Inclusion council.
Monitoring & Reporting
Track campaign performance and analytics to measure effectiveness.
Prepare reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Maintain brand standards across all communications.
Requirements:
Organization: able to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure projects are managed on time, on budget.
Content creation and management: Produce high-quality and engaging content such as blog posts, articles, social media updates, infographics, videos, and more. Manage content and events calendars, ensuring timely and consistent content delivery across platforms.
Website maintenance: update and maintain our forms, resources, and customer information on our public websites and Inclusion internal ESC website.
Social media management: Oversee social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement. Monitor trends and best practices to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Campaign performance reporting: Prepare regular reports on marketing campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and present findings to the marketing team and senior management.
Digital marketing optimization: Monitor and analyze website traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Apply data-driven insights to optimize digital marketing efforts and improve online presence.
Responding: Manage the communications mailbox weekly and triage as needed.
Qualifications:
Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven work experience as a Marketing & Communications Advisor or similar role.
A Problem-solver – Leading with a creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
Demonstrated expertise in corporate communications, content creation, and social media management.
Proficient using marketing automation and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
Able to manage, monitor and wrap up campaigns with actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills. Able to juggle multiple projects at once.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Fluency in French is a strong asset.
Knowledge of Drupal, CMS, social media scheduling software is a plus.
Experience in Canadian Healthcare industry is a bonus.
