As Brand Manager for Advil Cold & Flu, you’ll lead one of Haleon’s most trusted respiratory brands; driving growth, inspiring innovation, and delivering results that resonate. Job Purpose: 

We are looking for a strategic, creative, and results-driven Brand Manager to lead Advil Cold & Flu, a key pillar of our Haleon Respiratory Portfolio.

This role reports into the Portfolio Lead, Cough, Cold and Flu, and is responsible for setting winning growth strategies and integrated marketing plans based on deep consumer understanding, leading cross-functional teams, and owning the P&L. The ideal candidate will orchestrate their teams to develop and execute brand initiatives with excellence across the marketing mix, and deliver top-line, bottom-line, and share goals. This is a high-impact role for a brand builder who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity and execution.

Key responsibilities

This role will provide YOU with the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR Marketing career. These responsibilities include some of the following… 

  • Consumer Insight Mining: Cultivate a deep understanding of consumer needs, preferences, and pain points through data analysis and insightful market research, translating these insights into actionable strategies.
  • Brand Strategy: Develop and champion a compelling brand strategy that drives sustainable growth and strengthens brand equity.
  • Integrated Marketing Execution: Balance and prioritize initiatives across innovation, renovation, communications, shopper marketing, promotions, and distribution to optimize P&L performance.
  • Communications Management: Develop strategy, tactics, and lead execution for brand communications, rooted in consumer insight, leading to memorable creative ideas and executed brilliantly.
  • Innovation Management: Develop strategy, tactics, and lead execution for new product launches built on trusted science to enable disproportionate growth.
  • P&L Ownership: Own top and bottom-line results, demonstrating a deep understanding of sales drivers and cost management.
  • Organizational Navigation: Navigate the organizational landscape, building strong relationships across functions, levels, and markets to achieve ambitious goals
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and motivate internal and external cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and inspiring execution. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and accountability across teams.

Basic Qualifications 

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of Consumer Healthcare or Consumer Packaged Goods brand management experience 
  • Strategic mindset to build a vision and pipeline of ideas to meet business objectives
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort interpreting performance metrics and consumer insights
  • Growth mindset as a highly motivated, action-oriented, curious individual
  • Ability to navigate complexity and drive connections across functions, ideas, and processes
  • Capability to influence and achieve buy-in with those you don’t directly manage

Preferred Qualifications:  

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: 

  • MBA degree
  • Brand management experience leading local brands
