Job Summary: The Events and Community Coordinator has the responsibility of hosting events and creating a sense of community within the facilities they are assigned. This sense of community should be cultivated within the facilities, as well as connecting the facilities with outside resources. Engagement may be created through events, activities, classes, etc. The coordinator is also responsible for reaching out to local or nearby businesses to develop a relationship between them and the Switchpoint facilities the coordinator is assigned to.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate events and activities between the facilities under coordinator’s jurisdiction.
- Calendar all events and make sure all residents are aware.
- Develop rapport with residents to encourage activity attendance.
- Work closely with case management, property management, and residents to determine the type of activities and events that would be successful at the facilities.
- Connect with community resources and partners to encourage their involvement in activities and events.
- Use budget appropriately without overspending.
- Prepare a weekly report on resident attendance to deliver to property management and Regional Director.
- Communicate regularly with property and case management teams.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- 2+ years in activities/events coordination, networking, or community engagement.

Compensation:
Wage range between $20 - $22/hourly
