Job Description

As the Marketing Operations Associate Manager (User Support, Tech & UAT), you will be responsible for the effective business-side management and support of critical marketing tools that enable the planning and production of Best Buy Marketing and Ads Organizations. You will provide user & tool support, including assisting in translating business needs to the tech teams by providing requirements for tool development, test functionality, process, and training. You will be leveraged in the continued development of source system technologies, serving as a business-side system expert. The Marketing Operations Associate Manager will serve as a primary resource for user tool questions and troubleshooting, as well as providing ongoing assistance for operational run-the-business activities and assisting with enforcement of processes and timelines.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do
  • Partner collaboratively with tool users and technical partners, providing a high level of customer service
  • Define project goals, tool enhancements and test functionality based on business needs
  • Provide training support that complements with user support communications, including demos and facilitation
  • Assist with user support activities and governance, including questions, issues, and testing
  • Translate updates for user communications, assess change impacts and support rollout of technologies and ongoing enhancements from maintenance to optimization
  • Leverage organizational knowledge; build and nurture relationships with a network of contacts 
  • Identify efficiency opportunities, partnering across team and cross-functionally to improve processes.

Basic qualifications
  • 5 years of progressive Marketing or related experience
  • 5 years of experience working in content management systems/tools or related disciplines
  • 3 years of experience in quick-turn, high volume environment
  • Experience leading projects, managing reporting, conducting training or similar

Preferred qualifications
  • Salesforce, Adobe/Workfront or similar marketing/advertising business management tool experience
  • Demonstrated experience with intaking stakeholder needs and identifying ways to infuse new bodies of work into existing business systems
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the marketing/advertising sector
  • Retail and national brand experience preferred
