Job Description
This position is for an Accounts Payable Analyst providing direct support to Lockheed Martin internal and external customers.Primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
* Responding to customer inquiries/issues received in team resource account and customer ticketing tools.
* Research and resolve customer issues
* Assisting internal and external customers with various required accesses
* Assisting in resolution of invoice discrepancies
* Invoice processing both manually and via upload functionality
* Effectively communicate with peers and all levels of employees throughout the organization
* Provide support as needed to other AP processes on the team
The successful candidate will be exposed to a broad range of technical and financial topics. . Must be able to work effectively in a close team environment, placing the mission and the team objectives first. Position is required to support tight deadlines on a regular basis while adhering to policies and procedures.
Core work is cyclical and follows a schedule, but at times this role contains a dynamic component. Occasional OT may be required on an as needed basis especially during peak times including year-end and month-end closing. Candidate must be comfortable adapting to new technology in a constantly changing and complex financial world.
This position is on the Aeronautics AP Team which is located within our larger Global Financial Services (GFS) organization which provides core finance services to all areas of Lockheed Martin in the United States and around the world. In GFS all employees are expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with our internal customers by delivering critical services at a very high degree of accuracy on a daily basis. GFS places a high emphasis on lean operations, and team members are encouraged to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

- Demonstrated ability to automate manual processes with Power Query
- Experience in private or government finance and accounting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with others and in decision making
- Experience interacting with our government customer or Lockheed Martin products
- Knowledge / experience with FAR and DFAR
