Summer 2026 Intern - Mechanical Engineering (Rainin) na Mettler Toledo

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern on the Mechatronics team, you will work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, and test mechanical and electromechanical components and systems for our pipettes. You will assist with prototyping, testing, and documentation of new product concepts and improvements to existing products. You will work with cross-functional teams, including Electrical and Software Engineering, Quality Control, and Manufacturing, to ensure that products are designed and tested to meet functional requirements, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. The responsibilities of this position may include but are not limited to:Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical components and systems for pipettesCollaborate with Electrical and Software Engineering teams to integrate mechanical and electrical components into functional systemsPerform feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, and documentation of new product concepts and improvements to existing productsAssist in the creation and maintenance of product design and testing documentation, including product specifications, test plans, and test reportsAssist in the evaluation and selection of materials, components, and suppliers for use in product development
